“Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest Supervisor Melany Glossa announced the recent acquisition of 800 acres which secures public access to national forest lands and the Sapphire Mountains. Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) was instrumental in working with the Burnett family to obtain an old homestead – Zekes Meadows - and a neighboring section of land in the Rock Creek headwaters.”
