Drug Tests for Welfare/ Yellowstone River Oil Spill/ TSA Whistleblower/ No Child Left Behind Fix

Missoulian: Glendive tries to fix water system tainted by oil spill
Incident Overview
“On Saturday morning, January 17, 2015 at approximately 10:30, the Poplar Pipeline controller in the control room at the Casper, Wyoming offices of Bridger Pipeline noticed abnormal pressure readings at a site near Glendive, Montana. …
The Poplar Pipeline is 12 inches in diameter and one-half-inch thick in the area where it crosses under the Yellowstone River just upstream from Glendive. A breach in the line has occurred between two block valves approximately 6,800 feet apart where the line crosses the river. The exact point of release has not yet been determined; however, the release is specifically within this 6,800-foot section and product has reached the Yellowstone River.”

Department of Homeland Security v. MacLean
“Thus, the question here is whether a disclosure that is specifically prohibited by regulation is also “specifically prohibited by law” under Section 2302(b)(8)(A). (Emphasis added.)
The answer is no. Throughout Section 2302, Congress repeatedly used the phrase “law, rule, or regulation.” For example, Section 2302(b)(1)(E) prohibits a federal agency from discriminating against an employee “on the basis of marital status or political affiliation, as prohibited under any law, rule, or regulation.””

Bridger Pipeline Oil Spill
"Results from the first water sample taken from the Glendive Municipal Water Treatment Plant has come back and the sample showed an elevated level of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), predominantly benzene. The presence of benzene would account for reports of adverse odor in the local water supply. This test result confirms findings from field samples taken Monday at several locations in the city."

Martin Luther King Jr.

"The 20th century's most influential civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr., was born on January 15, 1929, in Atlanta, Ga. King entered the civil rights movement in 1955. That same year, he led a bus boycott that was initiated by Rosa Parks in Montgomery, Ala., where blacks were made to sit at the back and give up their seats to whites. In 1963, King participated in the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. From the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, he delivered his famous "I Have A Dream" speech to a crowd of 250,000."- LOC
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality.
