“On Saturday morning, January 17, 2015 at approximately 10:30, the Poplar Pipeline controller in the control room at the Casper, Wyoming offices of Bridger Pipeline noticed abnormal pressure readings at a site near Glendive, Montana. …

The Poplar Pipeline is 12 inches in diameter and one-half-inch thick in the area where it crosses under the Yellowstone River just upstream from Glendive. A breach in the line has occurred between two block valves approximately 6,800 feet apart where the line crosses the river. The exact point of release has not yet been determined; however, the release is specifically within this 6,800-foot section and product has reached the Yellowstone River.”
